For more than 30 years, our country has undergone “de-industrialization”, with a corresponding loss of jobs, many of them high-paying. Retraining for another career is not practical for most people, and the demand for workers in most industries is already far outstripped by the supply of available talent.

It’s obvious that traditional employment opportunities – job opportunities – are not available to most people and alternate means must be found to generate income.
